Takagi met this girl in Lumbini, when he traveled to Nepal in 2003. She was
working in a field. Takagi became friends with her and her friends during
the few days of his stay. Primo was created based on the video works. It
took Takagi a year to make a video work which looked like a moving painting.
The video will be released as a DVD in the summer of 2004. Being shot in
Lumbini, where Buddha was born, the work, with the look of an oil painting,
arouses sacred feeling. The frame is original with extra white space.
